English Tutor – Barnet (After School/weekends)
We are looking for qualified English Tutors to join our team in Barnet, delivering high-quality after-school tuition to primary and secondary students.
Role details:
1. After-school tutoring (weekday afternoons/evenings/weekends)
2. One-to-one or small group sessions
3. Supporting students with reading, writing, grammar, and exam preparation, filling in gaps in the learning
4. Building confidence in English language and literature
5. In-person sessions in the Barnet area
Pay:
6. £25-£30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Requirements:
7. A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent)
8. Proven experience tutoring or teaching English
9. Strong subject knowledge and ability to explain concepts clearly
10. Reliable, professional, and committed to student progress
11. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
