We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced manufacturing operation within a high-risk, food production environment.
This role is accountable for delivering daily operational performance, ensuring output, efficiency, food safety, quality and health & safety standards are consistently achieved in line with customer specifications and legislative requirements.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work cross-functionally with Planning, NPD, Technical, HR, Engineering, Hygiene and Health & Safety to ensure production plans are delivered safely, efficiently and right first time.

About You
You will be a strong operational leader with proven experience managing food manufacturing teams.
Essential:
* Experience leading teams within a food production environment
* Demonstrable delivery of KPI performance in manufacturing
* Strong leadership and man-management capability
* Sound understanding of Health & Safety and Food Safety legislation
* HACCP Certification
* Food Safety Level 3
* IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
* Experience conducting investigations and risk assessments
Desirable:
* Degree (or equivalent experience) in Food Technology or related field
* CI and efficiency improvement experience
* Formal management qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Monday to Friday role - flexible working hours may be required in line with business volumes, including occasional weekend cover.
