As part of this growth, we are looking to bring in a capable and strategic individual to lead our sales and marketing initiatives across our group, leading a team of 8 of our team and bringing in new strategic & data led marketing to enable further sales expansion.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Sales Team Manager & Marketing Lead who will play a key role in managing the sales team while driving all marketing-related activities. This is a leadership role that combines team management with strategic marketing execution. The focus is not on direct selling, but on enabling and guiding the sales function, developing marketing assets, improving online presence, and generating qualified leads and sales opportunities..
This would be across Product Sales mainly with some Service Sales focus.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Team Leadership
* Manage and support the sales team to ensure they are aligned, motivated, and equipped to meet business goals.
* Work closely with the team to improve processes and performance.
* Serve as the central point for coordinating sales efforts and team development.
Marketing & Brand Development
* Lead the development of marketing campaigns to increase visibility and attract potential clients & new inbound leads/inquiries.
* Be Data lead and able to demonstrate ROI on these new marketing / Lead generation projects..
* Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms.
* A range of projects might include oversee the creation and maintenance of a new company website, working with internal or external designers.
Lead Generation & Content Development
* Plan and execute lead generation strategies that support business growth.
* Develop high-quality marketing content, including case studies, brochures, and web copy.
* Track and optimize lead generation performance through data and analytics.
* Assist with creation of new marketing materials like Case Studies etc
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment between marketing, sales, and operations.
* Provide sales enablement materials and insights that support the team in their outreach.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in managing teams, preferably in marketing and sales environments.
* Solid knowledge of digital marketing, content creation, and lead generation techniques.
* Marketing & Sales experience in Tech/Engineering Product Sales (industrial/education/scientific B2B type products)
* Experience managing or contributing to website development and online presence.
* Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
* Analytical mindset with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
* Familiarity with CRM tools and marketing platforms.
* Experience working in a manufacturing & B2B environment.
