We're looking for a General Manager for the Hand and Spear in Weybridge. The pub is located a stone's throw from Weybridge station, and has a large car park beside it which gives it huge opportunity to be a destination pub. The pub is a firm favourite with commuters, a perfect spot for family gatherings and for those exploring leafy Surrey who want to stay overnight – the pub comes with 12 guest bedrooms.
We’re looking for a people-focused, guest centric General Manager who cares deeply about delivering exceptional premium service and a fantastic guest experience. The pub has several bookable spaces as well as outside areas and there is plenty of potential to grow sales. We're looking for an experienced operator who is happy being the face of the business for this gem of a pub.

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage operations with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and premium service.
* Grow sales by utilizing the pub's bookable spaces and outdoor areas.
* Be the face of the business and drive guest engagement, events, and local presence.
* Recruit, develop and lead the team to ensure staff have the knowledge to delight customers.
* Manage marketing, promotions, and overall business strategy in line with the venue's vision.
