Job Description
New Directions Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Student Teachers to work on a supply basis in primary schools across Ormskirk and the surrounding areas.
The Role
As a Student Teacher on supply, you will:
1. Deliver pre-set lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
2. Support pupils’ academic and social development
3. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
4. Adapt quickly to different classroom environments
5. Gain hands-on experience in a range of local schools

The Ideal Candidate
16. Currently completing a PGCE, SCITT, or teacher training programme
17. Confident delivering lessons (with planning provided)

Requirements
21. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
22. Employment or education references covering the last 2–5 years
