Science In Sport Group is a world leader in sports and performance nutrition. We have two highly regarded brands: SiS, which combines science and innovation to provide optimal performance nutritional solutions for professional athletes and active‑lifestyle communities, and PhD Nutrition, a premium active‑nutrition brand that has spent over 20 years of R&D designing products to maximise performance inside and outside the gym. Our brands are sold through phd.com and scienceinsport.com, third‑party online marketplaces such as Amazon, and extensive domestic and international retail distribution.
We support more than 320 professional teams worldwide across Football, Rugby, Cycling, Athletics, Basketball, Netball and Swimming, and have ambassadors such as former track cyclist Sir Chris Hoy and Eilish McColgan. In 2022 we opened a state‑of‑the‑art 160,000-square‑foot manufacturing and logistics facility in Blackburn, Lancashire, giving us a significant advantage in cost and customer response time. Science In Sport is the nutrition partner of elite teams including Tottenham Hotspur, Saracens Rugby, British Triathlon, Aquatics GB, British Cycling, England Netball and Loughborough Sports, and the official energy gel provider of RunThrough and nutrition partner of Ultra X.
The Role
Following the establishment of a new leadership team, a change in ownership and a strategic review of our Marketplace business model, we are recruiting a Marketplace Executive to execute our ambitious digital commerce growth strategy. The role will focus on the SIS eCommerce strategy, particularly interfacing with Amazon marketplaces across the UK, Europe, North America, Middle East, Asia Pacific & LATAM.

Responsibilities
* Amazon Execution – work with our new Amazon go‑to‑market partner to execute the SIS & PhD strategy across key regions.
* Data Obsessed – use data, analytics and competitive insights to drive outperformance of our brands across international marketplaces.
* Internal Collaboration – collaborate brilliantly with internal teams across compliance, finance, customer service and sales to deliver best‑in‑class execution of our brands.
* Financial Performance – drive profitable growth across our digital commerce business.
Accountability
* Work closely with the Head of Marketplace & Digital Trading to execute the SiS digital commerce agenda.
* Interface with Pattern POCs globally, managing priorities, accountability and performance.
* Develop best‑in‑class consumer‑facing content with Pattern and internal counterparts to execute across global marketplaces using Pattern’s proprietary AI technology.
* Build accurate, bottom‑up forecasts in collaboration with in‑market and SiS demand planning teams.
* Own all elements of SiS master data and share with Pattern.
* Enhance the customer journey by ensuring a seamless shopping experience, addressing customer feedback and improving service quality.
* Align marketplace goals with overall business objectives by working with sales, marketing, product development and finance teams.
* Identify and unlock new strategic opportunities to grow the SiS marketplace business.
* Monitor marketplace performance metrics, conduct data analysis to assess sales and customer behaviour, identify improvement areas and report them back to SiS leadership.
Capability
* High levels of commercial acumen.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain long‑term productive relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Analytical, data‑led approach to problem solving.
* Prior experience working within an Amazon 3P business.
* Proven track record of building brands across marketplaces.
* Expertise in Amazon Vendor or Seller Central, with understanding of marketplace levers and advertising optimisation.
Performance
* Growth in key eCommerce metrics such as traffic, conversion and AOV.
* Deliver key P&L metrics such as revenue and profit.
* Growth in market share of SiS brands.
Specific metrics will be set when in role and will be reviewed and built upon regularly. Alongside this, you will be supported with a personal performance plan that will enable you to continue improving your own performance and impact.

* Demonstrable experience working across Amazon 3P businesses and other marketplaces in the UK and internationally.
* Entrepreneurial approach to digital commerce growth.
