Position Title: Senior Project Engineer (DGV)
Location: Doha / Ras Laffan, Qatar
Position Overview:
The Senior Project Engineer (DGV) is responsible for leading and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams to deliver civil engineering projects from inception through completion and handover. The role ensures projects are executed efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in compliance with QHSE requirements, while maintaining strong coordination across engineering disciplines, stakeholders, and contractors.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering; higher degrees preferred
* Membership in a recognized professional engineering or project management institution is advantageous
Minimum Experience:
* 12+ years' experience in engineering, project management, and execution of civil engineering projects
* Experience in engineering coordination across disciplines during Feasibility Studies, Concept Optimization, FEED, and EPIC projects
* Strong communication, team‑building, presentation, and report‑writing skills
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate project teams to provide full project management services for onshore/offshore projects from inception to handover
* Prepare and implement Project Execution Plans and QHSE Plans for assigned projects
* Monitor and contribute to planning, budgeting, cost control, progress reporting, contract administration, change management, and gate approvals
* Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary engineers to achieve cost‑effective designs and timely resolution of technical and engineering issues
* Participate in the preparation, evaluation, and recommendation of tender packages and submissions to Tender Committees
* Generate and maintain risk registers, ensuring proactive management and mitigation of risks
* Interface with end users, government authorities, statutory bodies, and third‑party entities (including JVs)
* Participate in the resolution of variations and contractor claims
* Support the development and review of internal procedures and guidelines as required
* Mentor Qatari Developers and ensure proper on‑the‑job training to develop technical and professional competencies
