Arup has been a leader in civil engineering for over 50 years, designing the vital water, energy and transport infrastructure that cities, countries and communities depend on.In Transport, we work with clients to plan, build, integrate and maintain a wide variety of civil infrastructure, from highways and bridges to mass transit systems. Our technical teams address every aspect of civil engineering design, working in close collaboration with the full breadth of Arup's other design and engineering disciplines.Roads and StreetsThe Roads and streets team thrives on the diversity of our work. Projects undertaken by the team include highway, active travel and public realm design, sustainable urban drainage and utilities co-ordination. We play a key role in both local and large scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects for private and public sector clients.
