Job Title: CNC Machinist – Motorsport Precision Engineering
Location: Bognor Regis
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are working with a prestigious precision engineering company, specialising in motorsport components, to hire an experienced CNC Machinist. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-performance, high-precision projects involving advanced materials like carbon fiber.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate CNC milling machines, including 5-axis machining
* Program and edit machining processes using Heidenhain controls
* Machine high-specification parts from carbon fiber and other advanced materials
* Read technical drawings and apply GD&T principles to maintain tight tolerances
* Conduct quality checks to ensure all components meet specifications
* Use Visi Machining CAM software for offline programming
* Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and solve machining issues
* Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, ideally in motorsport or high-precision engineering
* Skilled in CNC milling and 5-axis machining
* Proficient in Heidenhain control programming
* Experience working with carbon fiber components is a plus
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (40 hours/week)
Benefits
* Competitive hourly rate: £18–£22 per hour
