As Admissions Officer, you will manage a team of Admissions Assistants and oversee the processing of applications from initial enquiry to enrolment. You will ensure that admissions decisions are made in line with University policies and external regulatory frameworks, including OfS and UKVI requirements. The role demands a strong focus on service level agreement (SLA) adherence, data integrity, and applicant experience. You will work closely with colleagues across Recruitment, the TNE & UK Partnership Hub, academic Schools, and external partners to ensure a joined-up and responsive admissions service that supports the University’s strategic recruitment goals. What You’ll Be Doing Leading the day-to-day operations of the TNE and UK Partnerships Admissions team ensuring SLA adherence Managing application workflows and ensuring timely decision-making Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support compliance and service delivery Producing and analysing admissions data to inform strategic planning Supporting continuous improvement of admissions systems and processes Contributing to university-wide initiatives such as Open Days, Clearing, and Outreach Events What We’re Looking For A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field Experience in higher education admissions, ideally with exposure to TNE or partnership provision Strong organisational and team leadership skills Knowledge of UKVI, OfS, and other regulatory frameworks Experience using student systems such as SITS and e:Vision Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and continuous improvement Why Join Us? Additional Information This is a full-time role with two designated office-based days each week. During peak periods, additional on-campus presence may be required to support service delivery.
