We are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a supportive primary school in Durham. The role focuses on providing consistent 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs, helping them access learning and regulate emotions. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support Support pupils with autism, ADHD or SEMH needs Help maintain clear routines and positive behaviour strategies Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and engagement Skills & Experience Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable Calm, patient and resilient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to inclusive education Why Join?
