To protect our customer's property, people, and assets by providing security services in accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent updates.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Delivering results that meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure customer satisfaction and contract retention.
2. Undertaking ongoing training for continuous self-development.
Main Duties
Operations
* Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law and guidance bodies.
* Complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published AI's.
* Review and familiarize oneself with AI's regularly, suggesting amendments for service improvement.
* Obtain and wear required licenses (Security Guarding or Door Supervision, CCTV PSS SIA License) at all times during duties, and complete any additional contractual courses.
* Follow instructions and procedures properly, respecting authority.
* Work systematically and methodically.
Training
* Complete all competency training satisfactorily.
* Engage in additional training for self-improvement as directed.
* Utilize technology for work objectives and professional development.
* Renew licenses 16 weeks before expiry.
Security and Health & Safety
* Report hazards or safety issues immediately.
* Remain alert to threats or environmental changes, taking appropriate action.
* Maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
* Document incidents accurately and promptly.
* Adhere to schedules and ensure check calls are made as stipulated.
* Report incidents to emergency services and communication centers.
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous security experience.
* SIA License.
* Excellent communication skills, especially in retail security contexts.
