We are seeking an experienced and driven Dental Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a premium private dental practice. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will balance exceptional patient experience, team development, and strong commercial performance.
This position goes beyond operations — we’re looking for a credible leader with emotional intelligence, integrity, and the ability to inspire high-performing teams.
The Role
As Practice Manager, you will:
* Lead overall practice performance across people, patient experience, and commercial outcomes
* Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, setting clear expectations and accountability
* Monitor and drive key KPIs including chair utilisation, treatment conversion, revenue, and patient satisfaction
* Work closely with clinicians and Treatment Coordinators to optimise the patient journey
* Oversee diary management to maximise productivity while maintaining a premium experience
* Ensure ongoing CQC compliance and regulatory readiness
* Manage budgets, stock control, and cost efficiency
* Handle patient feedback and complaints with professionalism and care
* Identify operational improvements and implement effective solutions
* Support local growth through marketing and community engagement
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills
* Proven experience as a Practice Manager within a UK private dental setting
* Strong people management experience, including performance management and team development
* Commercially aware, with experience managing KPIs and financial performance
* Confident leadership style — able to motivate, challenge, and develop teams
* Highly organised, structured, and solutions-focused
* Strong understanding of CQC compliance
* Patient-centred approach with excellent communication skills
Desirable
* Corporate background with experience running a practice end-to-end
* Dental qualification or clinical background
* Formal management or leadership training
* Experience improving treatment conversion and patient journey performance
