We are recruiting on behalf of a reputablepany located in Leicester, seeking a Mechanical Small Works Manager. Thispany specialises in delivering small-value mechanical projects, ranging from £5k to £250k, including planned refurbishments, maintenance upgrades, reactive works, and minor installations.
Your new role
As the Mechanical Small Works Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing and delivering multiple mechanical projects from inception topletion.
2. Coordinating with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
3. Preparing scopes, quotations, schedules, and method statements.
4. Monitoring project progress, budgets, and resource allocation.
5. Ensuring all worksply with health & safety and regulatory standards.
6. Providing technical support and resolving site issues.
7. Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should have:
8. Proven experience in mechanical contracting, ideally in a similar small works/project manager role.
9. Strong technical knowledge across HVAC, plumbing, and general building services.
10. Excellent organisational andmunication skills.
11. Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
12. Preferred qualifications: SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, or relevant H&S qualifications.
13. Mechanical qualifications: NVQ Plumbing and Heating, Gas Safe.
