Ecommerce Manager Location: Hemel Hempstead Salary: £50-£60k FMCG | High-Growth Consumer Brand | Commercially Driven We're partnering with an ambitious, scaling FMCG brand seeking a commercially astute Ecommerce Manager to take full ownership of their DTC performance. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on accountability, understands digital trading levers, and knows how to convert data into commercial growth. Revenue & Commercial Performance Leadership Take full ownership of daily, weekly and monthly ecommerce revenue performance Actively manage key KPIs including conversion rate, AOV, margin and return rate Build and execute the ecommerce trading calendar across launches, campaigns and peak periods Align on-site trading with stock position, commercial targets and promotional strategy Quickly identify underperformance and implement corrective actions Deliver clear reporting with actionable commercial insights Customer Journey & Optimisation Strategy Lead and execute the CRO roadmap Analyse user behaviour including funnels, drop-offs, device performance and paths to purchase Identify and prioritise improvements across listing pages, product pages, navigation and checkout Collaborate with UX and technical teams to implement structured testing Track performance impact of tests and continuously refine optimisation plans On-Site Commercial Execution & Merchandising Own product merchandising rules, sorting logic and promotional mechanics Maintain product data accuracy across pricing, attributes and availability Analyse product and category performance including sell-through, returns and margin contribution Use trading insights to influence product positioning and promotional direction Ensure the site remains commercially sharp, performance-led and conversion focused Paid Media & Platform Growth Manage and optimise Google Ads activity with a strong focus on ROAS and profitability Partner with agencies where required while retaining performance ownership Own Shopify performance and identify opportunities to enhance functionality and UX Drive platform improvements that directly impact revenue and conversion What You'll Bring Strong ecommerce trading experience within FMCG, DTC or consumer brands Hands-on Shopify expertise Proven experience managing and optimising Google Ads Commercial awareness - confident managing margin, stock flow and promotional impact Analytical mindset with strong GA4 and reporting capability Demonstrated success delivering CRO improvements Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
