Job Title - Senior Project Engineer
Location - Ashford, TN24 0LU
Salary- £65,000 per annum circa, dependant on experience
A full-time, permanent opportunity has arisen at our site in Ashford, Kent for a Senior Project Engineer to join the team.
You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple capital-based infrastructure, growth, and cost-out projects to specification, time & cost plan, achieving high engineering and professional standards.
This is a great time to join the business as we start work on new major projects and initiatives for our site.
The Successful Candidate Will
* Develop pipeline of suitable projects, including feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, etc.
* Lead compilation of capital authority request documentation / narrative
* Lead and engage end users in the development of engineering scope
* Develop functional design specifications in compliance with engineering & Premier specifications
* Run tender and procurement activities with equipment vendors
What We Need From You
* Engineering Degree or equivalent
* Up to 5 years FMCG background
* Extensive capital project management experience with a customer focus
* Successful record in delivering engineering capital projects in FMCG, emphasizing specification, planning, implementation, and validation
* Experience managing multi-functional/disciplinary teams
* Knowledge of food processing and related equipment
