Overview

We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced professional PA to the two Deputy Heads of Shiplake College to cover a period of maternity leave (for up to one year). This is a great opportunity for the successful applicant to continue to build and develop the role.


Responsibilities

* Provide professional PA support to the two Deputy Heads of Shiplake College.
* Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and IT skills; ability to multitask and undertake a varied range of PA duties.
* Maintain integrity, confidentiality and a calm and approachable manner.


Qualifications

* Previous experience as a PA is a prerequisite, preferably at senior level.
* Previous experience in schools is not essential.


Details

* Contracted hours: 26 hours per week (5 hours on four days and 6 hours on one day per week).
* Term-time only plus INSET, with up to two weeks during school holidays (compensated separately).


About Shiplake College

Shiplake College is an independent boarding and day school for around 580 pupils aged 11 to 18. It became fully co-educational in 2023 with girls in Year 7. Located in 63 acres near Henley-on-Thames, the College offers small class sizes, excellent facilities and dedicated teaching staff.
