Salary up to £38,000 Full time, Permanent Career development with scope to broaden responsibilities What you'll do: Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees across employee relations, performance, and engagement matters. Manage recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, advertising, interviewing, and supporting selection decisions. Administer contracts, policy updates, and HR documentation, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal procedures. Coordinate learning and development activity, supporting training needs analysis, scheduling courses, and maintaining training records. Advise on absence management, disciplinaries, grievances, and capability cases, ensuring consistent application of policies. Prepare HR reports and metrics, supporting business leaders with workforce planning and decision-making. Support health and safety compliance, audits, and wider organisational initiatives. What you'll need: Proven HR experience in a generalist role, with sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice. CIPD Level 5 Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the confidence to advise managers and employees. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience producing reports and analysing HR data. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
