About the role
As a Press Operative, you will operate and monitor pellet press machines and associated equipment. You will also be responsible for adjusting settings to maintain product specifications and efficiency, conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues, and recording production data. The role also requires you to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards and collaborate with the wider production team to meet daily targets. This role is part of a day, night, and weekend rotating shift pattern.
About you
We are looking for an experienced press operator who is enthusiastic and self-motivated. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a feed mill or manufacturing environment. You should possess mechanical aptitude, basic troubleshooting skills, and a strong attention to detail. The role requires accuracy and a willingness to learn. You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. A forklift license is desirable but not essential. The individual must also be prepared to conduct basic hygiene duties.
