Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Required in Crawley for Car Dealer Group
1. Pay: £44,000 Basic DOE + Bonus and overtime
2. Hours: 45 Hours per week Monday - Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota basis
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a reputable car dealer group in Crawley, West Sussex. Duties:
11. Conduct complex diagnostic, warranty, and repair work on a variety of vehicles
12. Carry out EV maintenance and hydraulic repairs as qualified
13. Utilise diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve technical issues
14. Perform repairs safely and in line with manufacturer standards
15. Assist and mentor apprentice technicians to develop their skills
16. Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in all tasks
17. Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and manufacturer updates
Requirements:
18. Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
19. Recognised diagnostic qualification
20. Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician or similar role preferred
21. Strong teamwork and communication skills
22. Commitment to high standards of safety and quality
23. A proactive attitude with a desire to grow and develop within the automotive industry
24. Experience working with electrical and hybrid vehicles advantageous
