Tenancy Sustainment Officer (£34,714 per annum, full-time, hybrid working with an office base of Sevenoaks, Kent).
Job Role
We are seeking a Tenancy Sustainment Officer to work with vulnerable residents who require additional support from internal services and external partners to help maintain their tenancies. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, compassion, and knowledge of adult safeguarding and child protection protocols, welfare benefits, and support for vulnerable individuals. Collaboration with external agencies such as local authorities, Social Care Services, Mental Health Services, and the DWP is essential to provide the right help for residents struggling to manage their tenancies. A clean driving licence and use of a car are required.
Responsibilities
* Work with vulnerable residents requiring additional support.
* Provide guidance on adult safeguarding and child protection protocols.
* Assist residents with welfare benefits and welfare claims.
* Collaborate with external agencies such as local authorities, Social Care Services, Mental Health Services and the DWP.
* Maintain accurate records and case notes.
* Help residents manage tenancy obligations and commitments.
* Advocate for residents to secure necessary services.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in social care or housing sector.
* Knowledge of adult safeguarding and child protection protocols.
* Familiarity with welfare benefits and support services.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies.
* Clean driving licence and access to a car.
* Compassionate, patient and proactive approach.

Location Details
The role will have an office base in Sevenoaks Office. We offer a flexible approach to hybrid working, with full‑time colleagues basing themselves in the office twice a week.
