Are you an organised and customer-focused professional with a knack for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? Our client, a leading European business based in St Ives, is looking for a proactive Sales Coordinator to join their friendly and collaborative team.
Purpose of the Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting the Customer Relations department and field sales team, ensuring a seamless customer experience from enquiry through to delivery. This is a varied and fast‑paced position ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, teamwork, and delivering first‑class service.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Coordinator
* Prepare, issue, and follow up on quotations and orders
* Coordinate the purchasing of haulage services and trade goods to deliver optimal customer solutions
* Handle complaints administration professionally to maximise customer satisfaction
* Manage the processing of orders, deliveries, and transport to ensure reliable and timely fulfilment
* Gather and maintain accurate customer data within the CRM system
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, promoting the company's core values
* Stay informed about industry developments and share knowledge within the team
Requirements for the Sales Coordinator
* Previous experience in a sales administration, coordination, or customer service role
* Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
* A team player who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service
Hours of work: Full time: 9am-5pm and 8am-4pm Monday to Friday with a 30mins lunch. Potential to work one day from home
