Seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to lead and deliver multiple multi-discipline engineering projects within a design office environment. This is a hybrid role based in Manchester, with a strong on-site presence required (4 days per week). Key Responsibilities Manage the full project lifecycle from concept through to commissioning and handover. Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification. Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, process, civil/structural). Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and cost controls. Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality procedures. Essential Experience Proven track record managing multi-discipline engineering projects within a design office environment. Strong project planning and control skills, including use of project management tools. Experience delivering projects in one or more of the following sectors: Brewery / Distilling Pharmaceutical Chemical Oil & Gas Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Background Mechanical engineering background. Familiarity with process plant environments and associated safety and regulatory requirements.
