Assist with all measurement surveys undertaken by the Measurement Services team, including:
* Gauging surveys using industry-standard systems or proprietary technology developed by Balfour Beatty Rail
* Lasersweep and Platform Gauging Surveys
* Track Surveys using proprietary technology developed by Balfour Beatty Rail
* Scanner surveys
* Topographical Surveys
Responsible for safe working practices for yourself and others, in line with the company's procedures.
Assist the Survey Manager in establishing all deliverables in the required formats for clients.
Assist with storing and distributing data.
Accountabilities

Personal Qualities and Experience
* Minimum three years as a Surveyor
* ONC or HNC qualification is ideal or studying towards these qualifications
* PTS Card is ideal, though training will be provided
* Good knowledge of computer systems and modern survey equipment with data transmission
Experience in writing method statements, risk assessments, and reports.
* Cooperate and report to the Survey Manager
* Adaptable approach to work; willing to develop the team and train junior staff
* Ability to work in difficult conditions and meet deadlines
* Very accurate and meticulous
* Experience working in a Rail environment is preferred
