We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Transport Consultant to join a Transport & Highways team, supporting the delivery of development projects within Norwich. About You:
You will hold a degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or a related discipline, with a genuine interest in sustainable transport, highways design, and development planning. Strong communication skills, numeracy, and analytical ability are essential, along with a collaborative and proactive approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected; any exposure to transport software (Junctions, TRICS, LinSig) is an advantage but not essential. A full UK driving licence is required.
The Role:
Support the preparation of transport assessments, travel plans and feasibility studies.
Assist with junction modelling, trip generation, and capacity assessments.
Learn industry-standard software and tools to analyse and present data.
Help produce clear, concise technical reports and drawings/figures.
Work alongside senior colleagues on multidisciplinary projects, site visits and client meetings.
