We're seeking an experienced HR Data Consultant to support a client project focused on improving HR data quality, reporting, and processes. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with the Head of HR to diagnose current challenges, streamline reporting, and recommend long-term solutions. Requirements: Discovery & Analysis: Review current HR data and processes, primarily managed through spreadsheets and Power BI. Data Quality Review: Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and risks within employee records (approx. 1,000 individuals). Process Improvements: Assess how data is updated, who owns it, and make recommendations for tightening controls. Gap Analysis: Highlight missing or beneficial data points and suggest what should form part of the "master record." Quick Wins & Long-Term Solutions: Propose immediate improvements to streamline reporting, plus longer-term automation opportunities. Reporting: Deliver monthly updates and a final report with clear recommendations.Desirable skills Strong experience in HR data management, reporting, and governance. Skilled in working with Excel, spreadsheets, and Power BI. Ability to diagnose data quality issues and design practical, scalable solutions. Good understanding of HR processes (JML, headcount reporting, vetting/training records). Ability to advise on what data should/should not be captured and shared in line with HR best practice. Strong communicator, able to partner with HR leaders and managers.
