Our client Wigan Council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their MASH team.Key responsibilities:Receive and review referrals from the public and professionalsGather and share information with partner agencies (police, health, education)Assess risk and make safeguarding decisionsDetermine whether cases need further social work interventionProvide advice and guidance to referrersRecord decisions clearly and accurately within tight timescalesWork in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment50% home, 50% office work. No visits, all work is completed via phones/emails.
