About this role
Our performance-based Conservatoire, based at our Chichester Campus offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses that prepare our students for careers across stage screen and beyond. The successful post holder will support our performance and music courses orchestras and musical ensembles. This will involve assisting staff and students with their Performing Arts and Conservatoire activities including Orchestras, Musical Events, Shows on and off-site. Assisting staff and students with arrangements associated with musical scores, performance scripts and working with associated solo or group concerts, assessments and internal and external performances.
This role will require a degree of flexibility in working days and hours to accommodate performances. Some evenings, weekends and travel will be required for tours and concerts.
About you
The successful post holder will be educated to Degree level or equivalent in a related area, well organised and methodical with a broad understanding of the orchestras’ music scores and notation. The successful post holder is required to undertake First Aid training and act as a University / Venue First Aider.
