Key Responsibilities
Science Technician Duties
* Prepare and set up equipment, materials, and resources for practical science lessons.
* Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure resources are stored safely.
* Support teaching staff with practical activities across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
Design & Technology Technician Duties
* Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for practical DT lessons.
* Maintain workshop machinery and equipment in line with health and safety requirements.
* Assist teaching staff and students during practical sessions where required.
* Manage stock and organise resources efficiently.
* Support the smooth running of the Design & Technology department.
Ideal Candidate
* Possess previous experience working in a school, laboratory, workshop, engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment.
* Possess strong organisational and practical skills.
* Be confident working independently and as part of a team.
* Have a good understanding of health and safety procedures.
* Be proactive, flexible, and committed to supporting student achievement.
