We're looking for a skilled Store Manager to join our retail team. This full-time Store Manager role offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
As a Store Manager, you'll help deliver the store's purpose by guiding the commercial and community strategies. You'll lead your team and ensure shopping at Co-op is a fantastic experience, helping them grow and learn to demonstrate the difference Co-op makes to local communities.
In this role, you can expect to:
1. Empower your team to deliver excellent service, promoting the Co-op difference to customers and members.
2. Build an inclusive culture where everyone can speak up and share their views.
3. Develop your team through regular performance conversations to help them reach their potential.
4. Ensure the store is safe, legal, and operational.
5. Manage and optimize your store's commercial performance, recruit new team members, and handle HR processes.
You need experience in guiding and developing a team and working in a busy, service-focused environment. Good communication skills are essential, along with the ability to coach, motivate, and inspire your team. Additionally, you should have:
* Resilience and strong problem-solving skills.
* The ability to understand and analyze commercial information.
* Willingness to support the team actively with store activities.
