Aim of the Assistant Restaurant Manager
To drive the Restaurant forward by motivating the team at all times, to increase profitability by reducing costs and wastage whilst increasing spends and business and to improve productivity by improving and maintaining the working environment.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Restaurant Manager
1. Oversee smooth daily service through effective training, supervision, and support.
2. Identify and implement methods to improve consistency and service standards.
3. Deliver training to build pride, passion, and professionalism within the team.
4. Motivate and develop junior team members to maintain 5-star service.
5. Collaborate with fellow Assistant Managers to ensure consistency across operations.
6. Support the Restaurant Manager and lead by example, especially during busy periods.
7. Provide confident, attentive guest service and handle all requests professionally.
8. Manage opening, closing, and cashing-up procedures with accuracy and accountability.
Qualifications

9. Passion in managing a large team
10. Proven track record in restaurant management
11. Able to run opening and closing procedure in a busy restaurant
12. Confident in leading a team in a high volume, fast past environment
13. Confidence, enthusiasm and passion for your work and communication with colleagues
14. A keen eye for detail, organisational skills and a flexible attitude
