Creative Arts Teacher – Cramlington, Northumberland
Music, Drama & Performing Arts | Maternity cover from October 2023 (7 month contract)
Are you passionate about the expressive arts and keen to inspire the next generation through music, drama, or related subjects? We’re looking for enthusiastic and creative qualified teachers to support a 'good' Secondary School for a maternity cover contract.
The Role:
Subjects: Music, Drama, Performing Arts & other expressive arts disciplines
Location: Cramlington, Northumberland
Start Date: October / November 2023
Interview Date: TBC
Responsibilities:
Foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration in the classroom
Manage classroom behaviour in a positive and professional manner
Contribute to a dynamic and inclusive learning environment
* Plan and mark lessons
Additional Expectations:
Inspire students’ personal growth through creative expression
Encourage resilience, independence, and communication through the arts
Provide supportive and constructive feedback
Report any concerns and maintain accurate attendance records
Ideal Candidates:
Confident communicators with a passion for music, drama, or performance
Skilled in classroom management and building positive relationships
Enthusiastic about education and creative learning
Recent graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced educators welcome
* Holds a UK QTS with a minimum of 1 year teaching experience within UK Secondary Schools
Pay is dependent on qualifications and experience.
