Kent Wildlife Trust is the county’s leading conservation charity with more than 31,000 members and over 1,000 registered volunteers. We manage and protect over 9,000 acres of land across more than 90 different sites and nature reserves, alongside 2 visitor centres. We work closely with local communities, businesses, organisations and individuals to protect and restore wildlife and wild spaces for the benefit of people and the planet.
What you’ll be doing
As the Visitor Centre and Events Assistant, you will be responsible for the retail and catering in our visitor centres, welcoming visitors and providing exemplary customer service. You will provide light refreshments and manage the retail outlet.
What we need you to bring
* Responsible for opening and closing the centre, operating the till and working with volunteers.
* Daily cleaning and cashing up at the end of the day.
* Work closely with the Visitor Centre & Retail Manager to ensure the centre complies with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications
* A DBS check will be required for this role.
* You must have a legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
