Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our busy finance team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and befortable handling high volumes of financial data with accuracy and efficiency.THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE
– 4 days in the office for the first 2 months, 3 days in the office thereafter.Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts payable from receiving purchase orders to preparing payment runs
2. Resolving supplier queries and discrepancies
3. Supplier and credit card reconciliations
4. Preparing supplier and seller payment runs
5. Processing staff expenses
6. Processing monthly payroll
7. Accounts receivable monitoring and reconciliation
8. Performing weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations
9. Assisting in the preparation of month-end reports and journals
10. Handling queries from internal teams and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
11. Supporting the Finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
12. A big focus on automation, improving accuracy and closing the books faster
13. Ad hoc analysis and financial project work
Requirements
14. Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role, ideally in a high-volume environment (minimum 2 years experience)
15. Strong numerical and data entry skills with high attention to detail
16. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
17. Excellent organisational and time management skills
18. Strong interpersonal andmunication skills
19. Strong IT skills including Excel. You must befortable handling large volumes of data.
20. Well organised and able to prioritise
21. Hands on approach

22. AAT,
Part or fully qualified.

23. Experience using NetSuite preferable, but not required
BenefitsThe salary on offer for this role is up to £26,000 to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.We also offer the following benefits:
