An established contractor within the civil engineering industry, currently working on several major projects throughout the UK. They have a glowing reputation are widely recognised as one of the best within the civil engineering industry.
Your new role
Managing the technicalpliance of the project, you will be implementing all the designs specified, as well as maintaining health and safety on the site. Reporting directly to the Site Agent, you will a great people manager as well as managing resources and physical assets throughout the project. The role holds the following, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
1. Support the implementation and monitoring of Performance Excellence
2. Support the Site Agent with cost management of your project, ensuring robust control of Target Cost, actual costs and forecasts throughmercial awareness.
3. Ensure all labour, plant, materials and supply chain resources are accurately recorded.
4. Identify areas of opportunity and improvement.
5. Create a programme to plan and measure the day-to-day activities
What you'll need to succeed
6. Relevant qualifications – degree level, or equivalent experience
7. Working towards bing a Chartered Member of the ICE.
8. Temporary Works Coordinator preferred
9. Knowledge and experience of the main management systems and processes used within a similar business, preferably on major infrastructure projects
10. Strong attention to detail.
11. Proactive approach to work.
12. Working as part of a team to deliver objective of the department andpany.
13. Enthusiastic, collaborative approach.
14. Liaise in a professional manner with Client, Client Representatives, General Public.
15. Proven people and project management skills.
16. Good organisational skills
It is required you will need a CSCS card and a UK driver's licence
What you'll get in return
17. £450 - £500 Per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella)
18. Contract running up until November 2025 (Likely to extend due to project demands)
