Physics teacher Location: Caterham Contract: Full time, permanent Start date: January 2026 Pay: MPS/UPS The Role: At term time teachers, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join a Science Department at a fantastic school near Caterham. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of physics and the ability to inspire students at all levels, from KS3 through to A-Level or equivalent. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physics lessons aligned with the curriculum Use innovative teaching methods to accommodate a range of learning styles Assess, monitor, and report on student progress Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and school-wide events Support students in academic and extracurricular science activities Requirements: A degree in Physics or a related subject Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) Proven experience teaching Physics, ideally up to A-Level Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
