Gold’s Gym is expanding rapidly and seeking a dedicated General Manager to deliver exceptional service to our clubs and members. Ideal Candidate Qualities:

* Experience in the fitness industry (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:
* Build and lead a high-performing, engaged membership team aligned with company culture
* Meet project and department milestones within budgets
* Enforce club policies and ensure procedural compliance
* Manage staffing through reviewing applications, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations
* Drive improvements in Service and Fitness through strong business acumen and relationship-building
* Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly club activities to maximize profitability
* Recruit, train, and develop team members, positioning them for success
* Mentor club leaders through coaching and accountability
* Address obstacles proactively, fostering a culture of trust and empowerment
* Assist department leaders in setting goals and executing strategies
* Prioritize ongoing training and cross-training to develop skills and solutions
* Promote teamwork and collaboration across club functions
* Collaborate with partners to grow our member community
Minimum Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of progressive management experience supervising 3-10 employees with measurable success
* 5-7 years in retail, hospitality, or operations with a focus on high employee and customer turnover
* Experience managing P&L statements and analytical reports
* Proven ability to build or rebuild teams collaboratively
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Experience turning around underperforming departments or teams
* Strategic thinking and effective delegation skills
* High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
* CPR and AED certification required
* Bilingual abilities are a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, maintain a professional appearance, communicate clearly, and wear a clean uniform.
