Who we are The Association owns and manages the Greenwood Centre, the local village hall. The charity's purpose is to promote provision of facilities for leisure time occupations for local inhabitants.
What difference will you make?
We currently have three trustees. Ideally we would like to increase to the maximum number of eight, giving us a robust Board with diverse expertise to increase the work the charity can do and the speed with which it can achieve the projects on which it embarks. Applying for grants and fundraising, to pay for hall maintenance and to expand on our charitable activities are particular concerns for the foreseeable future.
What are we looking for?
What we need People with commitment and enthusiasm who are willing to take on unpaid responsibility and have new ideas and creativity to progress the Association into an even more active role within our local community.
