Role Overview
The Care Support Worker will be an integral member of the ward/department team working under the direct supervision of a registered practitioner and responsible for providing care to patients as delegated by the registered practitioner.
Contribute to the maintenance of the care environment and quality initiatives to enhance patient care, ensuring that their practice adheres to policies, procedures and competencies.
Responsibilities

* Contribute to the maintenance of the care environment and quality initiatives to enhance patient care.
* Ensure practice adheres to policies, procedures and competencies.
* Act in a manner that upholds privacy, dignity, respect and confidentiality of patients and colleagues.
Working Pattern
This role involves 12‑hour shift working, covering days, nights and weekends as part of the ward rota.

* Understand the unique needs of vascular patients.
* Demonstrate compassion, patience and professionalism at all times.
* Work well under pressure and adapt to the demands of a busy ward.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
* Be committed to maintaining high standards of care and upholding Trust values.
