Thrive Education Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a high performing primary school in Gloucester to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3/4 Teacher for a full-time position from September 2026 until Christmas 2026.

The Role
Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, marking, assessment, and classroom management within a mixed Year 3/4 class.
Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire a love of learning.
Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment with high expectations for all pupils.
Support pupils to become confident, independent, and resilient learners.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
Contribute positively to the wider school community and ethos.
The Ideal Candidate
Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
Demonstrates strong classroom practice and effective behaviour management.
Is passionate about creating engaging and purposeful learning opportunities.
Has high expectations for attainment, behaviour, and inclusion.
Is a reflective, enthusiastic, and adaptable team player.
Builds positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
