Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of product development from concept through to mass production launch
* Deliver robust engineering designs in line with customer requirements
* Carry out numerical analysis including thermodynamic and fluid transfer calculations
* Conduct design evaluations using CAD, calculations, prototype and validation testing
* Support development solutions across design, validation and manufacturing engineering teams
* Prepare and deliver technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders
* Support engineering project management activities to ensure successful delivery
* Travel to customer and supplier sites in the UK and overseas when required
What Were Looking For
* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with a strong mechanical engineering focus
* Minimum 2 years experience within a Design or Development Engineering role
* Experience managing engineering or product development projects
* Strong 3D/2D CAD design experience, ideally using CREO
* Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
* Strong engineering problem-solving and analytical skills
* Innovative mindset with a proactive approach to technical development
* Automotive or off-highway industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential
