Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Development & PartnershipSupport the effective implementation and management of the NHIP and Outer West Action Plan for Health.Develop and implement a health pathway tailored to the needs of the community.Build and maintain excellent working relationships with local partners, stakeholders, and residents.Oversee the work of staff and volunteers as and when required.Facilitate the formation and ongoing support of health focus groups to identify and address health and wellbeing needs.Programme Development & DeliveryCoordinate and manage the programme delivery including NHIP Coordinated initiatives with local partners.Identify, organise, and implement health and wellbeing programmes, educational initiatives and community events.Liaise with statutory, community, and voluntary agencies to ensure coordinated delivery of health and regeneration programmes.Research, cost, and plan all aspects of proposed programmes, ensuring they remain within budget.Deliver and source trainers to provide health and regeneration projects and services for BHCP and NHIP.Community Engagement & Capacity BuildingDevelop initiatives to increase resident involvement in health and regeneration activities.Assess the training needs of volunteers and ensure appropriate training is provided.Build and support local community and delivery groups, offering capacity building and ongoing guidance.Lead on community development and regeneration work, identifying and implementing activities that support the regeneration of the local area.Resource Management & ReportingIdentify and secure funding and resources to sustain long-term programme delivery and encourage social enterprise.Maintain accurate financial records and report on programme development, including in-kind contributions.Prepare monthly progress reports and present programme proposals to the Management Committee.Implement agreed monitoring and evaluation frameworks for all programmes.Generate 6-monthly and yearly reporting as per requirements for our funders.Collaborative WorkingSupport joint working between groups, organisations, agencies, and residents to achieve neighbourhood renewal objectives.Provide technical support to BHCP, sub-committees, and working groups in pursuit of the NHIP and Outer West Action Plan.Lead on Outer West Health Taskforce area meetings, discussing and recommending programmes and initiatives that meet emerging need.Assist with research and consultation on potential projects and activities.Other DutiesPromote the aims and objectives of BHCP, NHIP and the Outer West Action Plan.Attend training to enhance personal skills and support the development of the surrounding areas.Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned by the Partnership Manager or BHCP Board of Directors.Adhere to Health and Safety at Work procedures.


Responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications

* A 3rd Level Qualification in a relevant discipline and 2 years experience in a community development capacity of co-ordinating or delivering health initiativesrelevant defined as health and social care, health promotion or community development
* Or5 years’ experience co-ordinating or delivering health-related initiatives in a community setting, with a focus on capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and improving population health outcomes.
* Experience of project development and assessment, including monitoring, evaluation and measuring outcomes.
* 1 years’ experience of Management of staff or volunteer team.
* Experience of MS Windows and MS Office.
* Experience of PR and Marketing
* Experience of managing a project budget.
* Professional Qualification / Degree in the relevant discipline - relevant defined as health and social care, health promotion or community development.
* Experience in Project Management
* Experience in delivering and facilitating training programmes.
