Job Title: STC Process Operator
Location: Peacehaven
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: You will work 7:00 - 16:30 Monday - Wednesday and 7:00 - 15:30 Thursday and Friday. After your Standby Week you will have 4 days rest.
Salary: Up to £27,496 per annum

About the role
Join our frontline operations team in Peacehaven to ensure wastewater treatment works run smoothly. This role is critical to maintaining compliance, protecting the environment, and delivering excellent service to our customers.
What you will be responsible for:
3. Compliance testing and monitoring.
4. Maintenance tasks including unblocking pumps, screens, and valves.
5. Repair of alarm systems and fault resolution.
6. Monitoring, collating, and reporting data for regulatory compliance.
7. Using IT systems to log maintenance tasks and ensure safety compliance.
8. Maintaining site hygiene in line with regulatory obligations.
Additional Requirements
Valid UK driving licence required for site vehicle use and Standby's.
Standby rota will be 1 week in 6.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential
9. Valid UK driving licence.
10. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
11. Adaptable, reliable, and self-motivated.
12. Good time management and ability to work independently.
13. Keen to learn and operate complex processes.
Desirable
14. Experience in wastewater operations or similar process industries.
15. Basic mechanical or electrical maintenance skills.
