Job Description
The role requires a strong understanding of the OneISS Way and the UK & Ireland HSEQ Value Proposition, Goals and Strategy.
You will be responsible for monitoring, measuring and facilitating improvements in Group and UK&I HSQE performance metrics, acting as a trusted business partner to operational teams across the region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support, coach and mentor operational teams within your region on HSEQ matters, providing competent advice using a business partnering approach
2. Monitor, measure and facilitate improvement of Group and UK&I HSQE performance metrics
3. Internally audit OneISS Way sites within your region using a risk-based approach
4. Lead the incident investigation lifecycle for Level 3 and 4 incidents
5. Provide oversight and governance for Level 1 and 2 incidents
Facilitate deployment of key HSEQ strategic objectives, including SafeChoice, Permit to Work and Lone Working solutions
6. Identify and manage significant risk areas within the region, including statutory compliance, food safety and projects
7. Act as a primary point of contact for sites within your region, working closely with other HSEQ Business Partners
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
8. Strong HSEQ background with experience of management systems
9. Experience within Facilities Management or a large corporate organisation
10. Proven customer-facing experience
11. Strong experience in Engineering Health & Safety
12. Wide-ranging leadership experience in a HSEQ role within a complex, multi-site organisation
13. Expertise in HSEQ within Facilities Management, particularly in CDM environments
14. Robust, non-authoritarian leadership style with the ability to influence without direct authority
15. Passion for HSEQ with the ability to inspire a culture where safety is embedded in everyday operations
16. Ability to communicate at all levels and influence internal and external stakeholders
17. NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) in Occupational Health and Safety
