Join to apply for the Tesco Colleague - Daventry Superstore role at Tesco. Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you. Availability windows are provided; we will schedule contracted hours within these times and you’ll have 3 weeks' notice of exact shifts. We support flexibility for our colleagues, so if your availability is close to but not exactly the advertised times, we would still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Applying training to ensure we work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering store routines that meet customer needs at the right time.
* Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events to create a great inclusive atmosphere.
* Understanding store performance and contributing to driving service, sales, reducing waste, shrinking, and delivering profit.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
* Being yourself, living Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
* Occasionally accepting deliveries into the store.
