Overview
NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership provides Clinical Logistics Transport Services across all Health Boards in Wales via its Health Courier Service, and is seeking Driver/Storekeeper staff to join this service based in the Denbigh area, serving the North Wales Area (Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board).
Main duties
As a Health Courier Service Driver/Storekeeper you will be responsible for stock items in stores centres and also for the safe and secure transport, distribution and replenishment of NHS Pathology, Blood/Blood Products, Secure and Non-Secure Stationery, Laundry, Mail/Records and Stock items such as medical consumables (e.g. needles/syringes/containers) distributed to primary health care sites (Hospitals, GP practices, pharmacies, opticians, dental surgeries) across NHS Wales.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Full Driving Licence
* Moving and Handling and Awareness of Health and Safety
Desirable criteria
* Basic knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance
* Basic First Aid
Experience

* Driving a range of vans
* Dealing with customers
* Sound geographical knowledge of area served

* Use of Mobile Technology
Skills
