Job Summary
Are you a dietitian with an interest in enteral nutrition and nutritional support? We have an exciting, opportunity for 1.0 WTE band 6 Dietitian to enhance their skills and knowledge in our Band 6 rotational position. The rotations currently include a number of clinical areas including Stroke, Head & Neck, Health Care for the older person and Critical Care. It is possible that the clinical areas of the rotations may expand further in the future.
As a service, we are committed to continuing professional development for all our staff through a range of opportunities that include recognised training courses, involvement in service development and audit. We have supported staff through a number of development opportunities including Masters, for example, Roosevelt Scholarships and HEEM Scholarship programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Support delivery of care to patients across different inpatient settings, including critical care.
* Support complex nutritional interventions as well as nutrition support and enteral feeding.
* Engage in service improvement and audit, and participate in development work to improve nutritional care of patients.
Qualifications & Skills
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* A flexible approach and the ability to manage own time and workload, as well as that of other members of staff within a supportive team.
* Experience of nutritional support and evidence of a varied clinical experience is desirable.
Experience Required
* Experience of working as a dietitian.
* Essential nutrition support skills; additional training and support will be provided.
