Company Overview: We are a privately owned Serviced Apartment company dedicated to providing high-quality accommodation solutions across multiple locations in the UK. We are seeking an experienced sales leader to head our sales team and drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
Job Summary: The Sales Manager will lead the sales in promoting our serviced apartments to both business and consumer clients. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing B2B and B2C sales channels, and optimizing revenue through online booking platforms. The position requires a willingness to travel extensively and experience in handling operations across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the hospitality sector, including targeting corporate clients for relocation and extended stays.
· Manage B2B sales activities, such as procuring and retaining corporate accounts, negotiating contracts, and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
· Oversee B2C sales efforts, including direct consumer outreach and promotions to individual travellers.
· Optimize revenue generation through online booking platforms, analysing data to improve occupancy rates and pricing strategies.
· Plan and execute local and national sales activities, including networking events, trade shows, and presentations to promote the company's offerings.
· Travel to various locations to support sales initiatives, conduct site visits, and ensure alignment with company standards.
· Monitor market trends in the accommodation sector, identify new business opportunities, and adjust strategies accordingly.
· Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and marketing, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
· Track sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide insights to senior management on revenue forecasts and opportunities.
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain high standards of guest services in all sales interactions.
Candidate Requirements:
· At least three years of experience in the accommodation element of hospitality, preferably in serviced apartments, hotels, or corporate housing.
· Proven track record in B2B and B2C sales within the hospitality industry.
· In-depth knowledge of revenue generation through online booking platforms, including data analysis and optimization techniques.
· Willingness to travel frequently and experience managing sales across multiple locations.
· Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate a sales team.
· Excellent communication and listening skills for effective client interactions and negotiations.
· Empathy and customer-oriented mindset to understand and address client needs.
· Networking abilities to build industry relationships and attend events.
· Time management and persistence to manage multiple priorities and follow through on leads.
· Financial acumen to analyse sales data and contribute to revenue strategies.
