The Role of the Procurement Operative is, to produce Test specimens to a supplied specification - Working to technical drawing(s) where applicable.

The Role
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
8. Ensure safe working practices are always adhered to.
9. Operation and maintenance of all associated equipment
10. Ensure processed material conforms to customers order requirements (Internal and External)
11. Understand, control, and maintain WIP levels within the department.
12. Ensure TRC (job) card information is understood and completed on a shift basis.
13. Check all Quality and relevant paperwork to ensure that it meets internal/external customer requirements.
VISION & CONTEXT
This position ensures production of precision components at the Test House as per Production, Quality requirements, working to defined safety standards and strict quality standards.
The role will compromise all aspects of specimen production including Sawing, abrasive cutting, acid etching, sample preparation and forging.

25. Experience in sample preparation in readiness for metallurgical examination.
26. Experience in the operation of a manual forging operations.
