Join Bradley Complex Care as an Occupational Therapist Assistant and change the lives of for men and women living with complex needs. Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will support the service in delivering structured activities and assisting in the planning for individual and group therapeutic interventions. You will build one-to-one rapports with service users to encourage participation in activities and empower recovery. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will contribute to the assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and modification of structured activities in order to measure progression and ensure effectiveness. The team is made up of a Regional Occupational Therapist, on site Occupational Therapist and two other Occupational Therapy Assistants. You will have the experience in supporting a small, designated caseload of 15 with a possible maximum of 20.
Responsibilities
* To assist Occupational Therapists, Nurses and other MDT staff in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans
* Support service users to achieve their goals and access appropriate services
* To maintain adequate records, entering details in the service user healthcare records, You will work at a specialist service for men and women living with complex needs who may have a primary diagnosis of Learning Disability, Mental Health issues, Autism or Personality Disorder.
* Experience in a similar environment & Mental Health
* Verbal and written communication skills

* GCSE/O-Levels (A-C) or a relevant NVQ2
